No university in the country comes more highly recommended than ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø, according to a survey conducted by The Wall Street Journal and Times Higher Education.
More than 170,000 current students at colleges across the country were asked, “If a friend or family member were considering going to university, based on your experience, how likely or unlikely are you to recommend your college or university to them?” ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøstudents were more likely to recommend their university than students at any other school.
“Our students are among the most engaged in the country, and it is encouraging to see their passion for sharing the treasured ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøexperience with others,” said Vice President for Student Affairs Phil Kimrey. “The ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøstudent experience is distinguished by nurturing intellectual, ethical and spiritual student development and we know this approach creates lasting success in school and beyond.”
Other schools included in the most recommended list include University of Notre Dame (No. 3), Rice University (tied No. 6), Stanford University (tied No. 6), Massachusetts Institute of Technology (No. 8), Yale University (No. 9) and Harvard University (No. 16).

This year, The Wall Street Journal ranked ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøno. 3 nationally for student engagement and the top university in Alabama. ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøwas also ranked no. 40 nationally for best undergraduate teaching by U.S. News & World Report and no. 34 nationally among private universities on Kiplinger’s Personal Finance’s “Best College Values” list.
