Hundreds of ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø students will participate in Omicron Delta Kappa’s Day of Service Saturday, April 10.

About 350 volunteers, including some ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøfaculty and staff members, will assist a variety of Birmingham area nonprofit organizations, 8 a.m.-12 noon.

Activities include holding a car wash to support Children’s Miracle Network and working with Ronald McDonald House, Urban Ministry, Inc., Shades Mountain Baptist Church’s community restoration efforts, NorthStar Ministries, Church at Brook Hills’ Hispanic clinic and Habitat for Humanity.

The project, sponsored by the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøchapter of ODK leadership honor society, is part ofÌý ODK’s National Day of Service.

ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøODK member Stephen Bailey, a chemistry major from Brownsburg, Ind., is student coordinator. ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøbusiness professor Dr. Betsy Holloway, isÌý ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøODK advisor.
