Alabama Attorney General Troy King will address students at Samford's Cumberland School of Law Thursday, Sept. 18, at 11 a.m. in the moot courtroom of Robinson law building. His topic will be the death penalty.

King's talk is sponsored by Cumberland's Cordell Hull Speakers Forum series.

He was appointed attorney general by Gov. Bob Riley in 2004 and was elected to the post in 2006. He previously served as an assistant attorney general and legal advisor to Gov. Riley.

King's ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøtalk will be followed by a time for questions. The public is invited free of charge.
